Sarah qualified at St. James’s University Hospital, Leeds in 1996 where she worked as an Advanced Practitioner. Although very proficient at scanning all parts of the body, musculoskeletal ultrasound is her specialist area and she takes personal pride in the effective diagnosis of injury and disease to enable people to heal and maintain mobility. Being so versed, she lectures and teaches postgraduates, undergraduates and medical practitioners within the field of musculoskeletal ultrasound. She is also able to carry out shockwave therapy.
She holds the Diploma of the College of Radiographers, Post Graduate Diploma in Ultrasound, Certificate in Musculoskeletal Ultrasound and is accredited by the FMF for the assessment of nuchal translucency. She is also a member of the British Medical Ultrasound Society and is a registered member of the Health Professions Council.
