About our Physiotherapy service

Physiotherapy is the treatment and prevention of injury by natural means. These natural means involve many varied skills gained over years of extensive recognised training in order to achieve the title of Chartered Physiotherapist. The aim of physiotherapy is to help alleviate pain, restore normal movement and function patterns and help return the body to its natural balanced state without chemical intervention.

Our physiotherapists employ a wide range of skills to achieve this, with the use of:

  • Sports Massage
  • Soft Tissue Mobilisation
  • Manual Mobilisation/Manipulation
  • Muscle balancing techniques/Core Stability
  • Exercise Programmes
  • Relaxation
  • Re-education
  • Acupuncture
  • Clinical Pilates

Our physiotherapists have clinical autonomy and knowledge to decide the best treatment for you, based on experiential learning, clinical experience and a growing body of research evidence. The research evidence shows that physiotherapy is providing the answers; the combination of diagnostic, treatment and rehabilitation skills which enable us to offer you multi-dimensional approaches to treating conditions and restoring near normal function and movement.

Working closely with our in-house sports doctors, podiatrists and osteopaths, we work as one team to ensure our collective experiences get you to the place you want to be.
